Public schools on P.E.I. delayed opening Thursday morning as the province cleaned up the snow and rain that fell overnight.
The Westisle family of schools remained closed for the day, as did École Pierre-Chiasson in Deblois.
Provincial civil service offices in the West Prince area and the Service Canada office in O'Leary also delayed opening until 10:30 a.m.
The 5:20 a.m. and 6 a.m. flights out of the Charlottetown Airport were cancelled, but the rest of the morning schedule was on time.
