CBC's The Search asked tough questions about health care in your community
Over the month of February, CBC News took an in-depth look at Nova Scotia's doctor shortage — how we got here and how to fix it.
We hosted public forums in three different communities during the month of February.
Sydney
CBC Nova Scotia was in Sydney on Feb. 7 at the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion.
We asked: Does every Nova Scotian really need a family doctor?
Halifax
We hosted a forum in Halifax on Feb. 13.
We wanted to know: Are politicians hurting health care?
Yarmouth
And on Feb. 21, CBC was in Yarmouth at the Mariners Centre.
That conversation asked: Does every community need to have every health-care service?
