Man injured in Russell Road shooting

A man sustained a leg injury after being shot, paramedics said

One person was shot on Russell Road Wednesday night, Ottawa police said.
The call came in at around 7:55 p.m. and the guns and gangs unit responded.
Paramedics confirmed a man was shot and was treated for a leg injury. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Nobody has been arrested in connection with the shooting, Ottawa's 12th of the year.
