Police think suspects Christian Whitebear and Matthew Crane-Watchmaker may have left Calgary
Calgary police have issued warrants for two men wanted in the death of 25-year-old Darby Chase Shade. Shade's body was found last Tuesday in the Westbrook Mall parking lot after a nearby house party turned violent.
Christian Whitebear, 25, and Matthew Crane-Watchmaker, 19, were previously considered persons of interest in the case, but police said in a statement late Monday they are looking for the pair to charge them with second-degree murder.
"Detectives believe they are no longer within Calgary city limits and are seeking public assistance to locate them," police said.

Police were called to the Rosscarrock area about a disturbance at a house in the 1100 block of 37th Street southwest at 10:40 p.m. on Jan. 16.
When officers arrived, numerous people were seen fleeing what appeared to be a house party across the street from the mall where Shade's body was found, police said at the time.
About 100 people attended a vigil at the mall Friday night where Shade, who also went by Darby Soop, was remembered as "just a wonderful man."
