2 charged with attempted murder after Marlborough shooting

The victim's condition has been upgraded to stable

A man and a woman have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Calgary's northeast on Sunday.
According to police, officers were called to a home on the 100 block of Marlyn Place N.E. around 2 a.m. for reports of a shooting. They took three people into custody at the scene and one man was sent to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Detectives believe it was a targeted shooting and the victim and suspects were known to each other, according to a news release.
Robert William Linfoot, 41, and Hayle Hellstrom, 23, have both been charged with attempted murder and break and enter to commit robbery.
The third individual was released without charge.
The victim's condition has been upgraded to stable.
