Atlantic Lotto has announced that another $1 million ticket has been sold in Summerside, P.E.I.
Early this month, Shelly Campbell of Tyne Valley claimed a million dollar prize from a ticket sold in the city.
Now, another person from P.E.I. is a newly minted millionaire and claimed the prize Thursday in Moncton. The person's identity will be released at a ceremony in Summerside on Monday, according to Atlantic Lotto's Molly Cormier.
In addition to another million dollar winner, the Island also had six winners of $10,000 or more in the month of December alone, Cormier said.
The winner played the Atlantic 49 game as part of the Lotto 649 draw and matched all six numbers.
