Teen driver dies in Highway 2 collision near High River

Woman in other vehicle airlifted to hospital in Calgary in serious condition
A man was killed in a collision Tuesday morning on Highway 2 south of High River, about 80 kilometres south of Calgary.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of the two-vehicle crash near the intersection at Township Road 182 at about 10:45 a.m., EMS said.
RCMP say it appears a northbound vehicle trying to make a left turn was struck by a southbound sedan.
A 19-year-old man who was driving the northbound vehicle was declared dead at the scene while a woman, who was a passenger in the southbound sedan, was airlifted to Foothills hospital in Calgary.
The male driver of the southbound sedan was taken by ambulance to hospital in Calgary.
Both are in serious but stable condition.
