RCMP looking for woman and 2 men after rural homeowner hit with pepper spray during heist
Police in Airdrie are searching for three suspects after a man was attacked with bear spray during a break-and-enter robbery.
The victim was in an outbuilding on his rural property near Conrich, just east of Calgary, on Nov. 17 when he saw a suspicious car in his driveway, RCMP said in a release.
As he spoke to a woman in the car, two men got out and assaulted him with bear spray.
After taking property from the residence, the culprits fled in a run-down, early 2000s, grey, four-door sedan with a black roof and black steel wheels.
The man was treated at the scene by EMS for the effects of the bear spray.
The female suspect was white, in her 20s or early 30s, with a thin build and shoulder-length, dirty blond hair, RCMP said.
One of the men was black, in his 30s, about five feet 10 inches tall and about 200 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7200 or contact Crime Stoppers.
