Where Laura Babcock was, who she was spending time with, and the series of events that unfolded after her disappearance in July of 2012, are all details now in front of the jury.
The Crown has wrapped its case after five weeks of testimony, presenting jurors with a timeline showing what it believes happened.
On Monday, the co-accused, Dellen Millard, 32, of Toronto, and Mark Smich, 30, of Oakville, Ont., will reveal whether they plan to mount a defence. Both have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.
The Crown's theory is that Babcock's murder may have been motivated by a love triangle. The court has heard Millard called her problem he'd get rid of — a promise he made to his girlfriend at the time, Christina Noudga.
