Man charged in connection to fatal stabbing near ByWard Market

45-year-old Adrian Johnson died from stab wounds early Saturday morning
A man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to the fatal stabbing near the ByWard Market this weekend.
Damien Dubien, 33, was arrested Tuesday night and appeared in court via video Wednesday.
Dubien has been ordered not to communicate with more than two dozen witnesses to the stabbing that took place on Saturday, Nov. 18.
He appeared wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and with his wrists handcuffed, and said little except for his name and agreeing to the court order.
The victim, 45-year-old Adrian Johnson, was found on King Edward Avenue suffering from stab wounds around 5 a.m. on Nov. 18. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Dubien's next court appearance is on Dec. 6.
