Angela Miracle Gladue (a.k.a. Lunacee) and Matthew Wood (a.k.a. Creeasian) are the Indigenous dancers that take centre stage at A Tribe Called Red's high energy live shows. In full regalia, they light up the crowd and don't stop moving until everybody else has run out of steam. They're both from Alberta, and they agree that bringing their dance to all the venues they can is vital — not only to showcase the traditions of all the nations but for what it brings back to them, the faces they see in the audience.

In this video, you'll get to know both of the dancers as they talk about how they got their start, why their regalia is so important and how it feels to be on stage at one of ATCR's concerts. (Fun fact: Gladue was off stage for a while after this piece to have a baby! And it was only a few weeks before she was back on her very quick feet.)
