From full-on, to just fringe, these are fur your eyes only
If you live in Canada and you leave your house, chances are you're going to get cold for a minimum of three (or six?) months of the year. But never compromise on style just to stay warm. In fashion, nothing puts the fun in functional quite like faux fur. The best thing about going faux these days is that it looks so good, people can bear-ly believe it's not butter. So slip into style now with any of the following faux fur toppers, and thank me later.
Prints
I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single time I wear my leopard coat, I get at least 3 compliments...within 5 minutes of leaving my house. The leopard might be too much for some, but if you pair it down with jeans and a t-shirt (I like to go with a bright red shirt for a pop of colour), I guarantee you'll change your mind. More fun prints below.
Colour
What happens when you combine faux fur with a bold colour? YOU GET NOTICED! Remember, when you're wearing this big of a statement, keep the rest of your outfit clean - you want to look cool, not clownish.
Classic
If standing out in a crowd isn't your thing, grab a coat in a more classic colour. Brown, black, and off-white will go with anything and last at least a few seasons. Plus, you can dress these down with cropped jeans and ankle boots, or up with knee highs and a dress. So cozy yet so chic!
Just the trim
And if going full fur is just too much, find something with just a few pops of puff. A jacket with fur trim around the neck or the arms will give a subtle nod to a not-so-subtle look. And if there's any fur-ther hesitation, get rid of it because this trend is here to stay.
