Ferry service restored between P.E.I., Nova Scotia

Ferry between Wood Islands, P.E.I., and Caribou, N.S. back to normal schedule
Northumberland Ferries' schedule is back to normal after having cancelled crossings Saturday morning due to weather conditions.
The ferry runs between Wood Islands, P.E.I., and Caribou, N.S.
The next crossing out of Wood Island is 1:00 p.m and the next crossing going back is 2:45 p.m.
Power outages
Power was out in roughly 20 communities across P.E.I. for a short period of time Saturday morning.
Kim Griffin, a spokesperson for Maritime Electric, reported several trees down on lines as well as a broken pole.
Crews were dispatched and power is back on across the province.
