Oluwatobi Boyede, 25, has outstanding charges of sexual assault, choking and forcible confinement
A man now accused of killing a young London woman has previous charges of sexual assault, choking and forcible confinement, court documents show.
Oluwatobi "Tobi" Boyede, 25, is charged with second-degree murder and offering an indignity to a dead body in the death of Josie Glenn.
Glenn, 26, was missing for several days before a tip lead police to 252 South Leaksdale Circle, in the city's southeast end.
The quiet Summerside home is also listed as Boyede's previous charges, which date back to February.
Boyede was charged with sexual assault, choking, forcible confinement and assault in mid February. In September he chose to proceed with a jury trial, for which a preliminary hearing was scheduled to begin in March.
Later in Feburary, Boyede was charged with assault against another woman. Those charges were also supposed to be dealt with in March.
In July Boyede was charged with failing to comply with court conditions, which included an 11 p.m. curfew.
Glenn has been described by friends as a cheerful woman who loved her guinea pig and her dog, Luna.
She worked in retail and at an adult massage parlour.
Police have not said if Glenn and Boyede knew each other.
