Kim's Convenience(external link) returns to CBC TV tonight, and the cast is in St. John's, Newfoundland(external link) to celebrate the premiere.
After doing a little Twitter creeping, it seems the stars have already spent the day doing a whirlwind tour of the city. Actress Nicole Power brought the cast to her old high school(external link), and they hit the town hall, too(external link). And, of course, they did a little interview with CBC Radio(external link).

But once they return to Toronto — where Canada's No. 1 comedy is set — they've got a little corner store competition thanks to the folks at Jim's Convenience. At Jim's, run by a Newfoundlander who's moved to Ontario's capital, salt meat riblets are always in stock and business is "deadly sure." There's only one problem: none of the customers can quite understand what Jim is saying.
