Foul play is not suspected in the death of a 27-year-old man who fell from a Sydney, N.S., overpass last Thursday, Cape Breton Regional Police said Tuesday.
Police responded to a call about an alleged altercation taking place on the Highway 125 overpass, located at the end of Upper Prince Street, at about 5 p.m.
When an officer arrived at the scene, there were two men on the overpass. One man then fell to his death on the highway, said the province's Serious Incident Response Team, which is investigating the incident.
Police have not charged anyone in the death, spokesperson Desiree Vassallo said.
Police would not release the name of the man who died.
