Drag culture is here. It's queer. And you're gonna love getting used to it. Ru Paul certainly paved the way for a modern musical invasion, breaking through barriers in the 90's as the "Supermodel of the World".

Not only did Ru capture the world's attention in his stunning female form, he proved to be an apt musician capable of some seriously catchy hits. He would go on to launch Ru Paul's Drag Race — a hit reality series featuring drag queens dueling for the crown that would serve as an incubator for some noteworthy musical talent that is slowly creeping into the mainstream. These hits range from originals to hilarious covers that you just can't stop listening to. Here are the queens that will have you dancing until you wig out.

This queen may not have made a big impression in her reality TV debut on Drag Race but managed to build a cult following online. In fact, a partnered YouTube show with fellow contestant Katya called UNHhhh recently attracted a broadcast deal. Trixie Mattel looks like a toy doll on steroids that would probably scare off the company she's named after but her music is something to be taken seriously.

Fast forward past the Leslie Jordan part and you'll find a damn good catchy country tune. Unlike the majority of drag music which gravitates towards pop and dance, Trixie decided to go folk/country, appearing both in drag and out. The results made history. The debut single "Mama Don't Make Me Put On The Dress Again" became a bonafide hit and the album "Two Birds" started collecting rave reviews.

But the cherry on top of this cross-dressing cake: The album peaked at #2 on the iTunes chart in the US, unprecedented territory for a modern day drag queen.

If there were to be a "drag supergroup" declared, this would be it. The queens in this trio are the a-list (androgynous list?) of modern drag superstardom. Alaska Thunderf**k, Courtney Act and Willam are legitimate superstars in the LGBTQ community and two out of three of them have crossed over to the mainstream before. Willam has a lengthy IMDB profile, appearing in big name shows like Nip/Tuck, The Shield and ratings juggernaut CSI. Courtney Act hails from Australia and has the most legitimate singing cred. She was a semi-finalist on Australian Idol in 2003, an impressive feat in a country that is only now addressing marriage equality. These ladyboys boast some impressive vocals and while the content of their music is firmly rooted in traditional kitschy drag culture the catchy choruses of their songs will have you hooked. Their debut single "AAA" has views in the millions and even if you aren't digging the clever lyricism it's worth a look. The visual spectacle is reminiscent of PSY's record-smashing "Gangnam Style".

What's the best way to enter a room? Purse first of course.
