RCMP release sketches of Red Deer carjacking suspects

The incident happened last week when a woman was threatened with a machete

Police in Red Deer are hoping sketches will help identify two suspects linked to a carjacking last week when a woman was threatened with a machete.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 5, a woman was standing near her Volkswagen Jetta on Nash Street when she saw a Ford Escape crash into a nearby building.
That's when two men approached the woman and demanded her keys, one of them wielding a machete, police say.
The two suspects sped off in the woman's car, which police found some time later crashed into a trash bin. The woman's purse was found in the car but the men had already fled with money inside.
Red Deer RCMP have released sketches of the suspects and are asking the public for information on the men.
The first suspect is described as Aboriginal, in his 20s, standing five foot four with short, messy black hair and a thin build. He was wearing gloves, jeans and a baggy, dark-coloured sweater.
The second suspect is described as white, about 20 years old, five foot six with a thin build. He was wearing a grey sweater and jeans.
