Wellington County OPP have charged a 19-year-old Erin man with mischief over $5,000 relating to the vandalism of Erin Public School.
Brandon John Adams is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court room on Oct. 1, according to a police press release.
Fifteen windows of the public school were smashed in on the morning of Aug. 20, causing an estimated $15,000 in damages.
It was the latest act in a series of acts of vandalism to hit the small Ontario community of Erin.
Earlier in August, someone sprayed graffiti on the walls of the local high school, road signs were torn down and a clothing donation box was pulled onto the street.
At this time, police do not believe Adams is responsible for the earlier acts of vandalism.
