Man charged with sexual assault after woman attacked in Lethbridge

24-year-old victim was walking near Henderson Lake earlier this month
A 27-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault after a woman was attacked while out walking in Lethbridge, Alta. earlier this month
The 24-year-old woman was out for a walk on the east side of Henderson Lake around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 when someone grabbed her arm.
The woman was pushed to the ground and her attacker tried to remove her shorts.

She was able to escape and ran to her vehicle where she called police. A police dog was used in the search for a suspect, but no one was found.
Police then released a composite sketch and received a number of tips.
An officer spotted a man matching the description on Aug. 26 and he was taken into custody without incident.
Rommel Vincent Crying Head, 27, of Standoff, Alta. is charged with one count of sexual assault.
He is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
