Officers were called to the area around Ellice Avenue and Spence Street around 5:30 p.m.
The teenager was brought to hospital as a precaution, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police were also called out early Saturday morning after reports of a fight involving a large group of teenagers.
Around 12:30 a.m., officers arrived at Assiniboine Park, where about 15 teenagers, including boys and girls, were fighting.
The teenagers fled when they spotted the officers, police said.
Officers stayed in the area to make sure the fight didn't resume, and no injuries were reported.
