Goats and turkeys die in Cherry Valley barn fires

3 barns were lost as well as several goats and turkeys
The Vernon River Fire Department responded to a barn fire in Cherry Valley, P.E.I., early Saturday morning, but could not stop a fire that destroyed three barns and killed some livestock.
Several goats and turkeys died, according to a spokesperson from the Department of Public Safety.
The fire is under investigation.
