Man and woman were trying to pass vehicles when they hit truck, RCMP believe
Two motorcyclists — a 48-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man — were killed in a crash south of Calgary on Thursday night.
They were south of Black Diamond heading eastbound on Highway 543, east of Range Road 22, when the collision happened just after 9 p.m., RCMP said.
It's believed they were attempting to pass vehicles when they both hit a truck hauling a flat-deck trailer.
An RCMP collision analyst is investigating.
Both motorcyclists were from Okotoks.
