Man rushed to hospital in serious condition
A man was rushed to hospital in serious condition Sunday after being shot inside a residence in the northeast Calgary community of Pineridge.
Police said a woman dialed 911 just after 8:30 p.m. to say a man walked into a townhouse in the 100 block of Pinehill Place N.E. and shot her brother.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital in serious condition, suffering a gunshot wound to the chest, said EMS.
Police tape surrounded the residence as officers spoke to witnesses.
No description of a suspect was available.
