If you're looking to submit your work somewhere, you can also consider the CBC Literary Prizes. The 2025 CBC Short Story Prize is open between Sept. 1, 2024 and Nov. 1, 2024 at 4:59 p.m. ET.
You can submit original, unpublished fiction that is up to 2,500 words, as long as it has not been previously published. There is no minimum word requirement.
