Inkster Blvd. fire sends woman to hospital

A woman was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation after a fire in a home on Inkster Boulevard east of Cochrane Street overnight.

Fire crews were called to a two-storey home at 12:40 a.m. Monday.

The Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service says the fire was well-involved when firefighters arrived.

It appeared to have spread from the first floor all the way to the roof.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
