Detectives believe Yu Chieh Liao played 'significant role' in slayings
A woman police sought after the slayings of four people in Calgary has been arrested in Toronto.
Yu Chieh Liao, 24, who goes by the first name Diana, was taken into custody on Thursday night.
She was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for fraud. Police say Liao is thought to have played a "significant role" in what officers described as the brutal and ruthless slayings of four people.
She is currently facing unrelated fraud charges. Calgary police say investigators have travelled to Toronto and Liao will be brought back with them at some point.
Her arrest comes after 25-year-old Tewodros Mutugeta Kebede was taken into custody on July 18 on charges unrelated to the homicides.

Last week, Calgary police were looking for Kebede, who had not yet been identified, because he was likely travelling with Liao.
Four victims identified
Sisters Glynnis Fox, 36, and Tiffany Ear, 39, along with Cody Pfeiffer, 25, were found dead in a burned-out car in Sage Hill, in northwest Calgary, on July 10.
Hanock Afowerk, 26, was found dead in a ditch near Highway 22 and Highway 8 on July 12.
Police suspect all four deaths are connected and that the three people in the car were caught up in a targeted attack against Afowerk.
Police believe multiple people might have been involved in the killings.
