Overnight house fire in Saskatoon causes $325K in damage

No reported injuries after 2 homes evacuated on 2nd Avenue N.
The Saskatoon Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire overnight that affected two homes on Second Avenue N.
Firefighters arrived after midnight at a home on the 1300 block of Second Avenue N. to find heavy smoke and flames at the rear of the house.
The house had already been evacuated
A neighbouring home was also affected by the fire. Firefighters made sure that house was also evacuated.
The fire department says there were no reported injuries.
After the fire was brought under control, crews entered the home to ensure all hot spots were extinguished.
The fire department says the fire caused an estimated $325,000 in damages to the houses.
