Regina firefighters snuff rail car fire by Evraz Steel Mill

Cause of fire, company responsible for rail car unknown
The Regina Fire Department responded to a flaming rail car at the Evraz Steel Mill on Wednesday morning.
Crews were dispatched just after 10 a.m. CST and the fire was out an hour later.
The rail car was filled with railroad ties.
The fire department did not know the cause nor the company responsible for the rail car.
The Evraz Steel Mill is located near the northern edge of Regina on Armour Road. The fire happened in the R.M. of Sherwood, so any further investigation would be conducted by the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
