John Blaine Flett, 50, was found lying on the ground, covered in blood and not breathing

A man found dead in the lobby of a Main Street hotel in Winnipeg has been identified as John Blaine Flett.
The 50-year-old was lying on the ground, covered in blood and not breathing when officers arrived at the Manwin Hotel around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, according to police spokeswoman Const. Tammy Skrabek.​
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
On Monday, police labelled the death as a homicide. No information, however, has been given as to the cause of death.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information for investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
