Like a sort of Eminem the Science Guy, Baba Brinkman wants to expand your consciousness of your consciousness using nothing but phat beats and ill rhymes (plus a whole bunch of research). And you should let him.
Whether or not you are interested in neuroscience or hip-hop, there is a high probability that watching Brinkman rap about Bayes' theorem and explain the development of human consciousness by singing through the eyes of his newborn son will fire the neurons that put a smile on your face.
Though his accomplishments as a rapper should not be underplayed (he's phenomenal), in my mind there's much more to Brinkman's talents than finding clever ways to rhyme rapper names with parts of the human brain.

His charisma and good will are infectious, betraying a genuine and endearing enthusiasm for science and for helping people learn, as well as for becoming our dopest unlikely MC.
