Heat warnings cover parts of southern Alberta

It could go past 30 C in some communities
It's going to be a hot one in parts of southern Alberta on Sunday.
Environment Canada has issued heat warnings for communities in the areas of Brooks, Cypress Hills, Drumheller, Medicine Hat and others.

High temperatures in some of the areas could exceed 30 C with UV index rated very high.
"Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions," the agency said in a statement.
