Police investigate suspicious package in northeast Calgary

Marlborough LRT station and several adjacent roads were closed
Calgary police investigated a suspicious package Wednesday afternoon in the city's northeast, causing traffic snarls during rush hour on a busy route.
Police responded to the 600 block of 36th Street N.E. around 3:30 p.m. The location is near the Marlborough LRT station and just north of Marlborough Mall.
Police could be seen using a bomb disposal robot.
Several adjacent roads were closed as was Marlborough LRT station, with shuttle buses connecting users from Franklin to Rundle.
