Calgary police are investigating a shooting in southwest Calgary that sent a man to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Police say were called to the 1900 block of 11th Avenue S.W. in Sunalta around 6:35 p.m. Tuesday for reports of a man shot inside an apartment.
The victim's condition was later upgraded to stable.
"Officers are working to establish suspect and vehicle descriptions," said police in a news release. "Early information indicates that three men were seen fleeing the scene in a medium blue 2017 Jeep Cherokee."
A neighbour told CBC News they heard four gunshots and saw a man taken away on a stretcher with stomach wounds.
