Not sure if you've heard, but Canada's turning 150 this year. And it's landing on the most glorious of days: a Saturday in July! We're looking forward to bringing Canadians together around this once-in-a-generation event in our country's history. Together, let's make this experience an extraordinary and memorable one.
Here's where you'll find CBC locally and nationally on the big day:

We're going to start the day off right by participating in this year's Living Flag(external link). Join the affable Ismaila Alfa and a whole whack of your fellow citizens at Portage and Main to show the country, no, the world, that Manitobans are numero uno in patriotic spirit.
Then, find us at The Forks(external link) where all the Canada Day magic happens. We'll be hanging out by the WAG's Art Express'd(external link) container. It's a sea-container-turned-mobile-art-studio!
There will be free art making activities (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and we'll be handing out CBC swag (the best kind of swag). Stick around to enjoy all the live entertainment on the main stage. One of the performers will be featured on our national programming, which leads us to...

If you can't join us on Canada Day in person, you can certainly join us on your devices. As the official broadcaster of Canada Day activities across the country, CBC/Radio-Canada has a full lineup of special programming and coverage on CBC, CBC News Network, ICI RDI and other platforms.
The prime time special, including the fireworks from Ottawa, will be broadcast on CBC and Radio-Canada networks and streamed live on CBC.ca(external link) and Radio-Canada.ca(external link).
