Bring on bear season! Sudbury tracks nuisance bears with online map

City reminding people the map is just for reporting sightings, not emergencies

It's spring in northern Ontario. That means a hint of warm weather, buds on the trees...and surprise encounters with black bears.
Love them or hate them, bears are a part of the Sudbury landscape.
And to help you keep track of the furry visitors in your neighbourhood, the city has updated its Report-a-Bear website.
