Motorcycle collided with parked truck early Saturday night on Kent Street, police say
A man was taken to hospital early Saturday night in serious condition after his motorcycle collided with a parked truck on Kent Street in Charlottetown, police said.
Charlottetown Police Cpl. William Almon said the motorcycle was travelling east on the one-way street and struck the truck, which was parked in front of Central Christian Church between Prince and Hillsborough streets.
Police got the call at 6:21 p.m., Almon said, and responded along with the Charlottetown Fire Department and Island EMS.
The incident is still under investigation, he said.
