Sudbury getting National Basketball League team

Sudbury developer Dario Zulich adds another franchise to Spartans football, Wolves hockey teams
Sudbury Wolves Sports and Entertainment, owned by Sudbury property developer Dario Zulich, announced today another sports team to their expanding roster.
Sudbury will field an expansion franchise in National Basketball League of Canada with an eye at competing in the 2017-18 season.
Zulich made the announcement at a press conference at the Sudbury Arena today, flanked by David Magley, commissioner of the NBL.
NBL Canada is currently in the playoff season in their sixth consecutive seasons of operation. According to the league's website, they have "continued to see growth year after year in both franchises, attendance and revenues. "
The new team's name has yet to be decided, but is currently going by the title "705 Basketball." Other teams have been tweeting their congratulations to @705Basketball, the official Twitter feed of Greater Sudbury's NBL team.
