The Calgary International Beerfest could not have picked a better weekend. Yes, it's that time again. More than 500 different types of beer will be on site and you can taste them all. There are pairing sessions where you taste beer and cheese at the same time, or beer and chocolate — you get the idea — as well as are seminars from Beer University to Beer Culture to Alberta Beer Girls.
There will also be awards, with 30 categories to choose from.
It's an 18+ event, so no kiddies allowed and please plan your ride in advance.
Beerfest runs Friday and Saturday at the BMO Centre/Stampede Park. Here are all the details(external link) you'll need.
