The outage was along the east bank of the Hillsborough River
The power went out for about 1,600 Maritime Electric customers east of Charlottetown early Tuesday afternoon.
A crew was dispatched and was quickly able to fix the problem, which Maritime Electric said was caused by wildlife on the lines. Power was restored a little before 2 p.m.
The outage affected an area along the east bank of Hillsborough River.
