Damon Allen joined some exclusive company on Friday night, becoming just the third quarterback in pro football history to throw for more than 60,000 yards.
Allen, who turned 40 on Tuesday, joined Warren Moon and Dan Marino into the elite club, achieving the mark during the fourth quarter of the Toronto Argonauts-B.C. Lions game on Friday night.
He needed 143 yards to set the mark entering the game.
At 11:54 of the fourth quarter, Allen reached the milestone when he connected with slotback Mike Morreale on a 30-yard pass.
There was a brief on-field ceremony.
Moon amassed 70,325 yards in the CFL and NFL while Marino finished with 61,361 with the Miami Dolphins.
