RCMP investigating 'sudden death' in Whitehorse's McIntyre subdivision

Police provide few details after emergency vehicles, forensics officers seen at residence

RCMP in Whitehorse are investigating a reported "sudden death" at a residence in the McIntyre subdivision.

Emergency vehicles were stationed outside a residence on Murphy Rd. since early Wednesday morning. Officials could be seen entering and leaving the residence wearing masks and protective clothing.
A police news release provides few details, saying officers had received a report of a death.
The Whitehorse Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Section are investigating.
