15-year-old boy charged with murder for the 'benefit of a criminal organization'

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with first-degree murder after a Saskatoon shooting last year.
Police were called to a home in the city's Mayfair neighbourhood just before 11 p.m. CST on Oct. 14. They found 26-year-old Dylan Phillips, who had suffered gunshot wounds.
Phillips died at the scene.
The 15-year-old has also been charged with committing murder for the benefit of a criminal organization, and two counts of assault with a weapon involving two other people during the same incident.
The accused will appear in court Thursday afternoon.
