Social entrepreneur Bruce Poon Tip was born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, and grew up in Calgary, Alberta. He founded G Adventures, the largest travel adventure company in the world, when he was 22 years old. He is the founder of Planeterra, a non-governmental organization that supports international communities through the tourism industry. He has spoken at TED conferences and at the United Nations, and his bestselling book Looptail: How One Company Changed the World by Reinventing Business was the first business book to be endorsed by the Dalai Lama. His latest book is Do Big Small Things. He lives in Toronto.
