Guelph Police say they arrested seven people on St. Patrick's Day for being intoxicated in public, arrested one person for testing positive during a roadside breath test, and gave two others three-day driving suspensions during RIDE enforcement stops.
In total, 750 drivers were checked during RIDE stops and there were seven roadside tests administered.
As well, there were 26 liquor related tickets issued, including two citations for urinating in public, and officers responded to 23 noise complaints.
Guelph Police released their St. Patrick's Day numbers Monday afternoon, while Waterloo Regional Police are still working to break down the numbers.
