It's more than 100 days away but Montrealers are overjoyed and appear to be impressed with this year's star-studded lineup for Comiccon.
The annual event's guest list was officially revealed Monday to the excitement of local Comiccon fans, who are already gearing up to meet their idols.
One of the guests of honour is Doctor Who's David Tennant (the Doctor) and the announcement spurred a flurry of excitement on social media.
The three-day event usually draws thousands of Montrealers decked out in their favourite superhero costumes.
This year's Comiccon also includes Buffy the Vampire Slayers's James Marsters (Spike), John Rhys-Davis from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Lord of the Rings, Firefly's Nathan Fillion (Captain Malcolm Reynolds) and Harry Potter's Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy).
Kevin Conroy, who has been the voice of Batman for 25 years in different series and films, will also be there.
Montreal Commicon runs from July 7 to 9 at the Palais des Congrès.
