Every year in early March, we marvel at all-things-woman to mark International Women's Day.

And what better place to celebrate the importance of women than in Montreal, a city that was named Ville-Marie at its founding — after the Virgin Mary herself, protector of the Société Notre-Dame de Montréal, the religious organization that settled here.

So for this month's quiz in honour of Montreal's 375th anniversary, we're paying homage to women who have shaped our city, either by leaving a permanent mark or just by passing through.
