Chantal Kreviazuk admits that her Canada Reads(external link) pick, Sheila Watt-Cloutier's The Right to Be Cold, can be a challenging read. It definitely challenged her. But, that's exactly why she urges everyone to check it out.
"This book can unite the nation," she says. "Through the common understanding this book can give us, we can really change the world together, perhaps in a way that we have not done."
Watt-Cloutier's book takes on climate change and the future of the world's environment. Kreviazuk adds: "We are in dire need of that information."
