You can donate online until Dec. 31
Donations to CBC Toronto's Sounds of the Season charity drive for local food banks continue to come in.
So far, you have helped raised $420,000 and more than 3,700 kilograms of food for food banks in the Greater Toronto Area.
On Friday, CBC hosts Matt Galloway, Jill Dempsey, Jay Scotland, Dwight Drummond and Marivel Taruc joined forces with 75 GTA students to sort donations at the Daily Bread Food Bank.
The five schools — including Beaumonde Heights Junior Middle School in Etobicoke, Richmond Hill Montessori and Elementary Private School, JB Tyrrell Senior Public School in Scarborough, Sinclair Secondary School in Whitby and Green Glade Sr. Public School in Mississauga — raised more than $3,000 and more than 5,000 kilograms of food.
You can still donate online or drop off canned goods at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre (250 Front St. W.) until Dec. 31.
