Thanks to the generosity of Calgarians, $1 million has been raised in support of CBC Calgary's Food Bank Drive.
When the counting was done after Blitz Day Thursday afternoon, the total reached $948,123.45.
And it wasn't even 24 hours later when we hit our target.

Gold medallist Erica Wiebe dropped by to talk about being wooed by the WWE. And we talked to the kitchen manager of the Drop-In Centre about making dinner for 1,000 people with whatever the food bank has on offer.

The Homestretch

A musical performance by YYC Music Award winners Bebo Grove was one of the highlights during the Homestretch(external link).
